Pain in the heels is a major cause for physical disability causing economical burden in terms of medical cost, work related sickness payment, time lost from the work. 80% of people suffering with OA are showing clear radiographic evidence of heel spur and 25% have symptoms. In India 10 million people are suffering with the same. 0.8 % of population.

Treating Headache

‘Siroroga’ a concept of diseases of Head, is an aspect of Ayurvedic Medical Science.
A very severe Headache can be brought down by a single application of nasal drops. Headache is a pain in all parts of the head called as Shiroroga. Siroroga is grouped under a division called ‘Shalakya’,one of the eight branches of Ayurveda. Shalakya deals with all diseases pertaining to the eye, ear, nose, throat, and head, diseases above clavical region.

Chakras healing therapy and its utility for cancer patients

Mostly all diseases including cancer is initiated by all thought form about yourself. Whenever you create a thought form that emotionally harms or hurts you by bringing painful thoughts and feeling into your system you are going to create a disease in your mental and emotional energetic system. Including cancer in all diseases, the first objective is to understand that the cause is through your own guilt or harmful thoughts and feelings created by you open yourself. Acceptance and forgiveness with love has to be done over and over until you can feel absolute acceptance and forgiveness from the mental, emotional and physical layers.

The South African Situation on Ayurveda Science

It is true that the “name” of Ayurveda has spread globally, but the acceptance of Ayurveda as a medical Science by Governments of many countries is at its infancy stage. India being the mother of Ayurveda Science has to play an integral role in the promotion and sustainability of the Science universally. As India realises the need for protecting traditional knowledge, intellectual property rights and medicinal patent rights, precautionary measures need to be put in place on the universalisation and standardisation of the education sector as for the use of the name of Ayurveda Medicine in other countries.

The science of Avarthana

Avarthana is one of the unique method used in ayurvedic pharmaceutics to potentiate snehakalpanas. The term Avarthana means to repeat. With respect to thaila kalpana, the term avarthana means to repeat the process of sneha preparation for the specified number of times.The main objective of this specialized pharmaceutical technique is to obtain the maximum concentration of phytoconstituents of the drug into the extractive medium.
The concept of Avarthana is not new to Ayurvedic pharmaceutics, though the word Avarthana has not been used as such in the classical texts.South India in general and Kerala in particular, the process of Avarthana is very common and popular too.

Unveiling 'Vedic Code'

Darshanshastra (Philosophical Science) is the outcome of comprehensive perception of Nature. It is the part of Vedic Science which explains and narrate the state of human existence as a stream of consciousness defined as ‘Sat-Chit-Ananda’. In man’s quest for truth, Darshanashastra leaves the ‘cause-effect/ matter-energy/ substance-body relationship’ way behind in terms of the contents and results. According to Vedas, the study of Darshanashastra prepares the fertile ground for organizing the “Green life”. The Upangas (disciplines) of Darsanashastra are briefly described below. Ashoka tree to keep women healthy

Ashoka is one of the prettiest trees of the world. It is frequently grown as an ornamental and avenue tree in India. 
The plant is called “Sorrow less tree” because literally ‘Ashoka’ means “without sorrow”, a reference to its bark’s reputation for keeping women healthy and youthful. 
Numerous legends are attributed to this tree. One legend is that when Goddess Parvathi asked Lord Shiva about the importance of Ashoka tree, he replied that it is a wish-fulfilling tree. The Goddess tested the tree by asking for a daughter and immediately a beautiful girl appeared. Goddess Parvathi named her Asokasundari.
