What is Triphala?

Triphala is an ancient Ayurvedic combination of three dried fruits: Amalaki (Amla), Bibhitaki (Baheda), and Haritaki (Harad). As it is made up of “three fruits,” it got the name ‘Tri,’ which means “three fruits” in Greek – ‘phala” means “fruits”.   • Digestion: 

It improves digestion by working as a digestive tonic, cleansing the digestive organs. Its moderate laxative qualities (Rechana) aid in the prevention and treatment of constipation, overall gastrointestinal pain, and IBS. It also promotes metabolism by avoiding pollutants from clogging the system.

 

  • Immune System: 

It boosts the immune system by the help of its Triphala Rasayana, or restorative effects. It is high in antioxidants, which prevent the development of oxidative stress. It also prevents sleepiness and tiredness in the body by providing energy and removing physical toxins in this way.

 

  •  Diabetes:

  1. Take 1-2 capsules of Triphala.
  2. Take it with water 2 times a day after meals.

 

3. Triphala Tablet

  1. Take 1-2 Tablets of Triphala.
  2. Take it with water 2 times a day after meals.

 

4. Triphala Juice

  1. Take 2-3 teaspoons of Triphala juice.
  2. Now take the same quantity of water as that of Triphala juice and mix them.
  3. Drink it before meals or empty stomach, once or twice a day.
